Summer Reading Program starts Monday, June 8

June 6, 2009

The number of laptop computers we’re giving away may not be completely accurate.  I’ll update when I can check with the expert.  But compared to last year, it’s a lot!

Update: the official word is that we’re giving away 10 laptops.

There is no online registration this year. Just come in to your nearest library and ask to sign-up.

Drew, Drew, Drew. There are many good books for prizes. Let your librarian know what books you have read and liked and he or she can help you find a gift book that will suit your interests. –Mari

Does anyone know how many people are in the raffle?
    And when is the drawing?

No one knows how many people are in the raffle. It depends entirely on how many people choose to enter the raffle when they reach the last level of the program.

The drawing will take place after the end of the summer reading program. All the branches need to send the entries to a central location before we can draw names. So, most likely, the drawing will be the first week of August. We will post the results on this blog.
